BRIGHTS HARDWARE EXTENDS TRADING HOURS UNDER LEVEL 3
South Africa breathed a collective sigh of relief at the news that we will all move to level 3 lockdown from Monday 01 June, a development that will see many more businesses opening their doors and people returning to work.
BRIGHTS has been fortunate in that we were able to trade under lockdown level 4, with restricted trading hours and strict hygiene protocols. The shift to level 3 allows us to extend our shopping hours which will hopefully assist those customers who are returning to work but still need to visit a BRIGHTS store during the course of their day.
Our revised trading hours during level 3 for all eight of our stores, situated in Boston, Blackheath, Langebaan, Mitchells Plain, Montague Park, Plattekloof, Uitzicht and Brackengate, are 08h00-17h00 Mondays to Fridays, and 08h00-15h00 on Saturdays. The Blackheath store will however still close at 14h00 on Saturdays. All stores will remain closed on Sundays.
As per the required regulations, and to ensure the safety of our customers and employees, we have employed stringent health protocols in our stores, with all employees being temperature tested before entering and leaving, wearing face shields or masks at all times, using hand sanitiser regularly throughout the day, cleaning their work stations regularly and observing social distancing.
All customers entering the BRIGHTS stores are required to use the sanitiser provided and to wear a mask at all times and to maintain social distancing inside and outside. We wish to thank everyone for adhering to these new parameters and for working with us to stop the spread of the virus. Your willing co-operation is valued and appreciated.
We look forward to continuing to welcome customers into BRIGHTS stores and reiterate that all possible measures are being taken to protect both our staff and our customers.
