ISABEL BARENDS: Adding sparkle to your life!
Whether she’s transforming rooms on “My Plek of Joune”, helping clients with decorating dilemmas, or just showing us how easy DIY can be, Isabel Barends has the ability to add some sparkle to any situation.
It should be no surprise then, that when BRIGHTS Hardware was looking for an ambassador to represent our new Sparkle Rewards programme, the choice was clear.
To most, Isabel is probably best known for her role as the lively host and interior decorator on “My Plek of Joune” – a home makeover show on VIA (DStv channel 147). We have previously posted about it here to highlight our sponsorship of the show’s hardware. Now, we are quite excited to be working with Isabel directly.
As the new Sparkle Rewards ambassador, Isabel will be encouraging women to tackle DIY projects around the house, if for no other reason than to get rewarded with Sparkle discounts and points.

BRIGHTS HARDWARE EXTENDS TRADING HOURS UNDER LEVEL 3
South Africa breathed a collective sigh of relief at the news that we will all move to level 3 lockdown from Monday 01 June, a development that will see many more businesses opening their doors and people returning to work.
BRIGHTS has been fortunate in that we were able to trade under lockdown level 4, with restricted trading hours and strict hygiene protocols. The shift to level 3 allows us to extend our shopping hours which will hopefully assist those customers who are returning to work but still need to visit a BRIGHTS store during the course of their day.
